Message of the board

The commercial activity of Globalfood has known a diversification of the areas of business and offers of products.

Today, the company has business in four distinct sectors: alimentary; forest; cattle breeding and ore. This diversification of the activity allows Globalfood to be present in diverse points of the world.

In the alimentary sector, Globalfood has in Portugal a privileged link with the Portuguese production, in specially, Rocha Pear, product that we export since the beginning of the activity of the company for the British market, France and Netherlands among others. We have a large offer of alimentary products that includes Portuguese traditional products and imported meats from Brazil that we are trying with some success to introduce in the African market.

In the forest area, we have a great offer of charcoal, resultant of some important partnerships established in the South American continent with Argentine and Brazilian companies, leaders in the market of exportation.

At the moment we import charcoal for Portugal but in the next year we expect to start the importation of our charcoal to others countries in European Union.

In the cattle breeding area, Globalfood has participation in the capital of a company in the cattle area in Mozambique. This investment allowed Globalfood to have in Africa an important strategical platform to locate some of our products and explore your cattle production in two explorations.

In the Ore area, Globalfood has participation on the capital of a Brazilian company, WM Minérios & Granitos Ltda. which dedicates at research and concession of new areas to explore. At the moment we have more than a hundred concessions for diverse areas of granites, marbles and iron.

For the next years Globalfood, expects to consolidate the actual business areas and an increase of the sales in some products and markets. However it is betting in the quality and the seriousness that we always had, that we hope to reach our goals.
